Steve Taylor was born and raised in Sydney, Australia in a suburb called Five Dock. Steve's passion for drawing and animation lured him straight from high school to Hanna-Barbera. There he worked on The Pink Panther & Sons, Berenstain Bears, Scooby Doo special, Snorks, Dukes of Hazard (animated series), Lucky Luke, Donkey Kong Jr., Teen Wolf, Top Cat and The Pound Puppies.

From there he went to Disney Australia working on such shows and features as the New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh (Emmy award-winner), Darkwing Duck, Duck Daze, Bonkers, Aladdin (TV Series), Aladdin and The King of Thieves (direct to video), Gummy Bears, Timon & Pumba (featurette), The Goofy Movie (feature film), Goof Troop (Animation & Director), Goof Troop (Director for Waste Makes Haste).

He went on a walkabout in 1994 and ended up in Canada. Since then he has been working for several small animation studios in Vancouver, British Columbia where he animated on a plethora of commercials, feature films and computer games. Steve enjoys the rain and doesn't at all miss the year-round tropical weather, sandy beaches and spectacular vistas of Australia.

Steve recently worked as animation lead and animator on Zeke's Pad, a joint Australian-Canadian co-production.

Steve currently works as a mentor/teacher in the 3D program at the Vancouver Film School and as a freelance 2D and 3D animator.
